Can an NRI buy residential property in Vrindavan?
Yes. NRIs and PIOs can freely purchase residential property in India without any prior RBI permission under FEMA. Both apartments and plots in approved township projects qualify as residential property.
Can NRIs take a home loan from Indian banks?

Can an NRI do the full purchase remotely?
Yes. Using a Power of Attorney (POA) granted to a trusted person in India, NRIs can complete the entire property purchase - including registration - without visiting India. RedBrik coordinates the POA process.
How is the money transferred for property purchase?
Payment must come through normal banking channels - NRE, NRO, or FCNR accounts, or by a demand draft from foreign earnings. Cash payments are not permitted. All payments must be made in Indian Rupees.
Can an NRI rent out the property and repatriate rental income?
Yes. Rental income from Indian property can be credited to your NRO account. After paying applicable income tax in India, up to USD 1 million can be repatriated per financial year from the NRO account.
What is the process after I decide to buy?
