Job Summary

The Senior Accounts Manager will oversee all accounting operations including financial reporting, budgeting, tax compliance, and audit coordination. In this role, you will manage a team, ensure accurate financial records, monitor cash flow, and support strategic decision-making. Strong expertise in real estate accounting, inventory management, and ERP systems is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and supervise daily accounting operations including ledgers, banking, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements as per applicable standards.
  • Oversee inventory accounting including stock reconciliation, purchase entries, and valuation.
  • Handle personal accounting for management including assets, liabilities, and investment tracking.
  • Coordinate with management for strategic financial analysis, budgeting, and decision support.
  • Monitor accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely vendor payments and collections.
  • Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax filings, and other statutory obligations.
  • Conduct internal audits and support external audits with timely documentation
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive financial data and personal accounts.
  • Implement accounting controls, SOP adherence, and financial discipline across departments.
  • Keep updated with changes in accounting laws, taxation, and regulatory frameworks

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
  • Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, preferably in the real estate sector.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
  • Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Proven experience in managing accounts receivable/payable and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to lead a team and coordinate with internal departments and external auditors.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
